My Influencers

A little story. I was at the gym running, my brain went into hyper mode. Here I am, financially free, achieved more that I could ever dream off and having the best of people around me. How did I end up here where I am right now? Images blasts through my head, the past flashes, each moment of failure, each disappointment, each cry with very vivid memory in my mind. When you think about a problem child, I'll probably be your champion.

What made me a problem child? For most (all) of my life, I haven't done well academically. The only time I passed my Chinese was during my PSLE. I was an express stream drop out student, I failed my polytechnic course and had to re-enter polytechnic. I shoplifted, I gambled away 10 grand during my tertiary studies. 10 Grand is a LOT especially when I was receiving $3 a day allowance. When I was in the airforce, I was charged for discipline issues.  I think I can stop here else I was take the entire page up but you get the picture.

So what changed? What happened? As I left the airforce, I took over my mum's business. Here is where I was forced to be extremely responsible. If I fuck this up, many will lose their jobs. All my life, I had no problems destroying and hurting my own life. But I will never do it to someone else or even a mouse. While running this business, I had to balance between my staff and the business. Life wasn't easy and doing business is not as easy like the old days. Here was where I was forced into a situation if I don't change, I will fuck other people lives up which is not an option to me. During this journey, I met many people and businesses that help made a little change. Those little changes added up and here I am right now.

Just like how I wanted my site to give the readers the very best, to improve their lives and make that positive change, these post are not sponsored. I'm grateful for all these individuals / businesses that brought the positive change, you deserve this recognition. I'll add more as time goes by.
